Our Story

As a busy mother of four children, I generally find myself working in the kitchen throughout the day.  More often than not my hands are submerged in hot soapy water doing dishes or wiping down dirty bench tops. My hands used to get so dry and damaged.  I had damage especially around the nail area and often cracks would appear in my skin and they would get really deep and become really painful.  When your hands are sore, every day tasks become painful and I wasn’t going to put up with it any longer.  I found that I was not alone, many of my friends with children experienced similar issues with their hands.

I wanted to create a natural plant based range of products specifically for your hands that contained no harsh chemicals as I was sure that was what was drying my hands out.  Real World New Zealand was born. Our range is hand crafted in small batches to maintain only the highest quality product, carefully formulated to be gentle on our skin.  Initially our range included hand care products such as our Hand Creams, Hand Washes, Dishwashing Liquid but we have now extended this to include a Body Wash, Bath Foam, Lip Repair Balms, a Repair Balm and Shaving Foam for Women.  We are currently working on more products to be released very soon.

Every pair of hands tell a story.  Some more interesting than others but they all tell a story.  Hard working hands, weathered hands, soft supple hands.  Our hands do amazing things and they are arguably the most used things on our bodies and often the most neglected. We need to look after our precious hands. If you experience sore, dry or damaged hands then I urge you to try our product range today.

Our products are free from Sulphates, Silicons, Parabens, Toxins, Petrochemicals, Artificial Dyes or Colours. We do not test on Animals. We are committed to creating hand and body care products that not only smell beautiful but that hold long lasting benefits for you inside and out. All our labels are easily readable and all our containers are carefully chosen with recycling in mind as well as being aesthetically pleasing.

Share your hands stories with us. We would love to hear them.  Lets chat.
